Are you hungry yet? We are too, but before we all dig in, it is important to remember why we celebrate this holiday to begin with. We at Land Shark Shredding have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, so we thought we would share just a few of the blessings we have had this year:
We would be remiss to discount the joy that these ferocious creatures continue to offer us. From our namesake Saturday Night Live sketch to our SHARKNADO live tweets to “our cousin, Lenny the Left Shark” at Super Bowl XLIX to our recent countdown of our favorite sharks in popular culture, we’ve had lots of laughs and fun along the way.
4. New home
This year, Land Shark Shredding moved out of our Shive Lane location and into an expanded space at Crossing Boulevard in Bowling Green. This move has been in the works for a very long time. We’re beyond thrilled to see it come to fruition in 2016!
Our move would not have been possible in the first place without the continued loyalty of the Land Shark community all across the South-central region of Kentucky. We’re thankful for all of our devoted clients and friends who have supported us along the way. Thank you to everyone who has shredded with us at our numerous Community Shred Day events. Land Shark also held several title sponsorships for events at Western Kentucky University this year. You might have seen us at football tailgates or at basketball games in Diddle Arena. These sponsorships reinforce our commitment to the university and to the Bowling Green community. We are here for you, and we hope that you’ll continue to rely on us in 2017 and beyond.
2. Our team
Land Shark Shredding would not exist without the tireless efforts of our team of “sharks” – Don, Mandy, Erin, Cady, Emily B, Emily G, Brittany, Kevin, Brandon and Matt. Most small business fold within the first five years. Land Shark will be entering its tenth in business in 2017, and it’s all thanks to this group. They deserve far more credit and thanks than they get on a daily basis. We look forward to keeping our train of success rolling in the new year!
In 2016, the greatest blessing we’ve received is life. Our fearless leader, Don, became a grandfather this year! Nick and Melissa Gerard welcomed Cullen James into the world back in August, and he’s been tearing it up ever since.
We thank God every single day for the many blessings he has bestowed on us this year, but Cullen is by far the best of them all. He, Nick and Melissa are healthy and happy. This little guy brings joy to us every single day, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch him grow. Judging by that JAWS outfit, he will make a fine addition to the LSS crew someday!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM ALL OF US AT LAND SHARK SHREDDING
