Kentucky governor Matt Bevin recently instituted an all-new certification program for the state’s “SDVOSBs.” That stands for “Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.” The program is designed to support small businesses owned by military veterans. The new legislation offers incentives for these kinds of businesses to locate and expand within the Commonwealth.
Nine companies were selected by the Kentucky Small Business Certification Committee to receive this special designation. They hail from all corners of the state: Louisville, Lexington, Elizabethtown, Nicholasville, Richmond, Florence and, you guessed it, Bowling Green.
That’s right! Land Shark Shredding is officially a Kentucky state-sanctioned SDVOSB!
This is tremendous news for us, but it should be exciting to you as well. With this new certification, Land Shark will be better equipped to offer you more of the services you need. Greater access to resources and other incentives for us means more top-quality shredding services for you!
We will have more to share as the year progresses. For now, feel free to read the full official press release from Kentucky.gov.
