On October 9th, Don participated in the Chicago Marathon. He completed the full 26.2 mile run with a time of 5:23:55. That’s 5 hours, 23 minutes, 55 seconds to be exact. We are so extraordinarily proud of him and of everyone from the Bowling Green area who made the trip in order to participate. Here are just a small handful of the many highlights from the trip:
Above is a shot of Don with Dr. Byron Darnell, principal of Potter Gray Elementary School.
Here’s Don with the Begleys in support of Team ALS. Don and Ward ran together to raise awareness for ALS research.
Here are Don and Ward out on the course on Race Day.
Finally, here’s the boss-man himself crossing the finish line! It’s truly an incredible sight seeing Don make it all the way to the end of such a prestigious event. The man never ceases to amaze us. Keep up the good work, boss!
