Land Shark Shredding to Host
Household Hazardous Waste Day April 25

Description of Land Shark Shred Day event It’s time for some Spring Cleaning, and if that includes hazardous waste in your home, mark April 25 on your calendar. Land Shark Shredding is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Community Shred Day at Jennings Creek Elementary School and Moss Middle School.

This event will run from
8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free to the public.

Bring unused chemicals, waste oil, herbicides, pesticides, devices containing mercury, as well as small appliances for proper disposal. We’ll also be taking old computers and monitors for recycling as well as paper documents for NAID AAA Certified, secure shredding.

In order to keep the lines moving, we ask that you bring no more than five small bankers’ boxes of material to be shredded. Should you have more than that, please call our office at 270-793-0880 to make an appointment for us to come to you.

Some items cannot be accepted, such as scrap tires, automotive junk and debris, refrigerated appliances, smoke detectors, and other items that contain harmful or radioactive material.
